And because the liquid is turbulent, the corrugation can reduce the formation of sediment or dirt. In addition, it has a particular self-cleaning effect.
Gasket: It clipped on the washer groove, preventing the fluid from leaking out.
Four characteristics of plate heat exchanger design
1. Design of diversion area
The fluid flows evenly across all plate corners to minimize pressure loss in the diversion area, even with the widest plate. All the physical space of the plate is transformed into an effective heat exchange area. It can make full use of the allowed pressure drop to improve the flow rate of the convective heat exchange part and improve the overall heat exchange efficiency.
2. Single-side flow design
A plate heat exchanger only uses the same type of plates, which makes the heat exchanger easier to pipe, install and maintain, and reduce the type and quantity of spare parts.
3. Two plates design- H and L types
Different combinations of plates can maximally improve the heat transfer coefficient and reduce the equipment cost.
4. One press molding process
The plate's corrugation depth is the same to ensure that each contact point is well connected. As a result, there is no excessive pressing area on the scale, and it will not produce hidden cracks. In addition, the metal grain height on the plate is the same, and the thinnest plate can be up to 0.4mm. As a result, the mechanical properties are better.
