1. Fouling condensation of plate heat exchanger


After the plate heat exchanger runs for a period of time, the dirt will be produced, which will make the heat transfer coefficient of the heat transfer device drop continuously. In serious cases, the passage of the plate will be blocked. Generally, the fluid layer of heat exchanger is easy to form scaling. And the dirt on the plate is mainly the place where the solid fiber or solid sundries are easy to gather, which makes the fluid stay in a certain place and forms the dirt accumulation. In addition, the calcium and magnesium ions in the medium are easy to adhere to the dirt after precipitation at a proper temperature, and finally become honeycomb scale. The causes of fouling and channel blockage of heat exchanger are different, but their effects on equipment are basically the same. Therefore, when the performance of heat exchanger starts to decrease, it is necessary to clean it in time to prevent more scaling.


2.Sealing failure of heat exchanger gasket

Generally, the reasons for the leakage of plate heat exchanger mainly include the following aspects: first, the temperature of plate heat exchanger is too high when it is running, or it is affected by the pressure of material, and then the leakage occurs. Secondly, due to the long-term use of the gasket of the heat exchanger, aging or cracks gradually appear, which leads to the failure of the instrument. Finally, the plates are deformed for a long time and it is difficult to fasten the gasket. In this regard, after the sealing failure of gasket is found, the plate heat exchanger shall be taken out in time to check the problem and repair it, and several similar plates with failure shall be removed or replaced. If the plates of hot and cold media can not be removed at the same time, the hot and cold media will be confused with each other.


3. Effect of circulating water on plate heat exchanger


In the process of circulating water flow, the friction resistance between the plate and the circulating water of the plate heat exchanger increases continuously, and the scale is gradually generated, especially the channel is seriously blocked locally, which further increases the flow resistance of circulating water, resulting in the slow down of the local flow rate, the high temperature of the local surface, and finally accelerates the generation of scale. Due to the local blockage of the channel, the scale develops rapidly and forms a vicious circle. In addition, with regard to the quality of circulating water, industrial production has been vigorously carried out in the upstream area based on the water source, and affected by the dredging project around the water source, resulting in the gradual increase of the total hardness and the content of small sediment in these areas. In addition, due to the long-term use of humic acid series of water stabilizers in the circulating water, the formation of dirt humus and floccules is more aggravated.
