Seawater Desalination System

The seawater desalination system uses the diesel engine jacket heat to evaporate seawater to produce a pure water compact unit that can be evaporated with make-up water below 48°C. Steam or waste heat steam can also be used as the heat source instead of jacketed water. The core desalination unit of the system consists of two shell-free titanium plate heat exchangers, which are kept in a vacuum state internally by fitted plates for evaporation, separation and condensation treatment respectively.
